Q: What if it rains?

A: The parade goes rain or shine

Q: How do I participate in the Parade?

A: You must file an application to participate in the parade and mail it
to Blue Tip PArade, P.O. Box 778, Wadsworth, Ohio 44282 along with
the application fee. The DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS MAY 23rd.

Q: Is there a fee?

A: If you are a commercial or political unit there is a charge of $50. If
you area not-for profit organization or church group there is no fee

Q: How will I know if the parade recieved my application?

A: You WILL NOT recieve a confirmation letter. ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE
POSTED on this website AFTER JUNE 10, 2009.

Q: When Should I arrive if I am in the Parade?

A: While the Parade begins at 6:00 PM., all participants are required to
REPORT BETWEEN 4 and 5 PM!!

Q: Where should I go if I am in the parade:

A: Wadsworth High School and Wadsworth Middle School (just east of
the High School) will be the location for the parade line up - ADDRESS:
625 BROAD STREET, Wadsworth Ohio 44281.

Q. Which Enterance to the High School should I use?

A: The only entry into the high school will be from Broad Street. The
Durling and Silvercreek enterances will be blocked. These two streets
are for exit only. Once you enter there will be volunteers directing you.

Q. What If I am just dropping people off

A: If you are just dropping off a participant, advise the volunteers
what unit you are with. Drop the participant off and leave via the
Silvercreek or Durling exit. Please carpool as much as possible to limit
traffic.

Q. How long is the Parade

A: The parade route is approximately 2.5 miles and runs from the High
School to Isham Elementary School.

Q. Are we permitted to throw Candy to the kids?

A: Candy should be disributed by walkers only as close to the curb as
possible so as to keep young children from coming close to the moving
vehicles.

Q. How does the judging take place

A: The parade is judged by professionals. The winners are announced
at the merchants tent in the festival grounds after the parade. Winners
will also be announced on this website.

Q. Can my Unit stop to perform in front of the judges.

A. No. No unit should fail to keep up with the unit ahead of them to
perform, converse with spectators or for any other reason. These
cause large gaps in the parade which is the top complaint of viewers.
Those who violate this rule may be asked to not return.
